Token:   The most general term for keys, ids, tickets, and documents - anything  given or shown among people, smart-things, enterprises, and computers as guarantee of authority, right, and identity.  In the Itsme future, all tokens will be digital, some will be in your Itsme-mobile, and most will be networked into Itsme-websites for safety, security, and flexible access, under your control with your Itsme-mobile and Itsme-website..

Itsme-mobile:  Often called your Itsme for short.  It's your front end and gate keeper for the Itsme System, and replaces all the remotes and tokens in your life.  Your Itsme doesn't really contain tokens, except for one: your unique Itsme-Identity.  As such, it is your gate keeper to a network of Itsme-websites that actually contain the tokens.

Itsme Identity:  The most important token in your life: your unique name.  It can be created any way you like, but most often by stringing together your given name with extra ones like your parent's middle names - anything that makes it easy for you to remember.  Mine is David Kurt Frank Henry Rose.  That's enough to be totally unique in all the world and all of history.  There will be a registry for Itsme names, so you can create your own, and register new ones when a child is born.

Itsme-website:  Every person and enterprise will have an Itsme-website, which they'll use to store documents and tokens, and to control their part of the Itsme world.  Some documents will reside at your Itsme-website but most will remain at the issuer's Itsme-website:  for example, your birth certificate will permanently reside at the hospital you were born in; your driver's license will remain at the Department of Motor Vehicles; your Visa "card" will remain at Visa's central database server.  You can, of course, have copies at your Itsme-website;  you are in charge.  All are indexed to your Itsme-identity, which, safe in your Itsme-mobile and Itsme-website, guides you and your agents to them.

Itsme-things:  All the smart-devices in the world that are networked into the Itsme System Architecture.  In Itsme time, that will be any thing that does anything: doors, gates, POS kiosks, vehicles, equipment, appliances, even documents - everything.

Itsme System Architecture (ISA):  The integrating design that brings together every bodies' Itsme-mobiles, Itsme-websites, and all the Itsme-things in the world so they can cooperate in order to perform services for you and your family, friends and associates, plus enterprises and organizations.

Trusted Identity Authentication:  Banks and other institutions that rely on a high degree of trust can authenticate that you are exactly who you say you are.  Soon, with Itsme, impersonation and fraud will be a thing of the past, so TIA will enable incredible new services and conveniences.

Endorsement:  The thing that makes Itsme uniquely powerful.  At your Itsme-website you can endorse over to anyone permission to enter or use any of your Itsme-things and tokens;  this is how someone else's Itsme-mobile becomes a virtual key to your things, or your Visa "card".  Of course anyone else can do the same for you;  this is how your Itsme-mobile becomes a virtual key to their things or documents.  Furthermore, an endorsement can be passed on to others, as limited by the original endorser.

Server-side permission:  The idea that permissions are not vested in the Itsme-mobile but in Itsme-websites.  The Itsme-mobile identifies its owner to an Itsme-thing and asks for a permission.  The Itsme-thing relays the request on to an Itsme-website; the website decides on permission and relays it back to the Itsme-thing.  This design aspect is responsible for the ISA's extraordinary flexibility, including endorsement.
